How to choose solar path lights
Choose the light according to the job, not only the pack size. In-ground disc lights create a low, discreet line beside lawns and driveways. Stake lights provide more visible guidance along paths and garden borders. Landscape lights direct light towards plants or architectural features, while motion-sensor step lights are designed for stairs, decks and entrances.

How far apart should solar path lights be?
There is no reliable universal spacing rule. The right distance depends on each light’s measured output and spread, the width and shape of the path, nearby planting and the amount of ambient light. Start with a temporary layout after dark, move the lights until dark gaps are reduced, and only then fix them in place. Curves, steps and changes in level usually need closer placement.
Solar path lights are best used for guidance and ambience unless the product specifications explicitly confirm sufficient output for functional illumination.
